Coming Through Christ

Contrary to what so many people in the world today will say, “There are many paths to God,” the Bible says there is only one way, and that is through His Son Jesus Christ. If there were many paths, then it is saying that Jesus death on the cross was unnecessary and in vain. Jesus said He was the way to the Father.

In the Old Testament, God gave men laws to follow, that if followed to the letter, would make them perfect. No man was ever able to follow them perfectly. The Bible says that God demands perfection, and He hates sin and cannot look upon it. We are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God (Rom 3:23). Since we were and are unable to be perfect, Jesus came to earth, and lived a perfect and sinless life in our place. He then paid the price for our sins on the cross, where all sin was laid upon Him. He said on the cross, “My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me? (Mt 27:46). This was the moment the sin of the world was laid upon Him. He felt the separation sin caused. Through His death, and resurrection three days later, we may now come to the Father through His blood, shed for us, and be washed clean. (You may make this commitment here if you desire to ask Jesus into your life). When we accept Jesus, we then become a Child of God. What a wonderful and life changing moment!

The following are verses that say Jesus is “The Way”:

(Jn 14:6) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

(1 Jn 2:22-23) Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth that Father and the Son. (23) Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.

(1 Jn 5:12) He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

(Acts 4:12) Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

(Mt 11:27)(Lk 10:22) All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.

(Heb 7:25) Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

(Eph 4:32) and be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

(Rom 6:23) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

(Gal 3:26) But ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
