Q: #13. Will there be time in Heaven?
A: It certainly does appear so to me. In response to this question, I will
simply post some scriptures that I believe support my position.
** Note: Keep in mind, some people see these verses on time as figurative and
not to be taken literally.
*** Caps emphasis on all scriptures is mine.
(Rev 9:15) And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared FOR AN HOUR,
AND A DAY, AND A MONTH, AND A YEAR, for to slay the third part of men.
(Rev 8:1) And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven
ABOUT THE SPACE OF HALF AN HOUR.
(Rev 22:2) In the midst of the street of it, and of either side of the river,
was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manners of fruits, AND YIELDED
HER FRUIT EVERY MONTH:...
(Rev 6:10-11) and they cried with a loud voice, saying, HOW LONG, O LORD, HOLY
AND TRUE, DOST THOU NOT JUDGE AND AVENGE OUR BLOOD ON THEM THAT DWELL ON THE
EARTH? (11) And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said
unto them, THAT THEY SHOULD REST YET FOR A LITTLE SEASON...
(Rev 7:15) Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him DAY AND
NIGHT in his temple...
(Isa 66:22-23) For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make,
Shall remain before me, saith the Lord, So shall your seed and your name remain.
(23) And it shall come to pass, that FROM ONE NEW MOON TO ANOTHER, AND FROM ONE
SABBATH TO ANOTHER, Shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord.
In addition, the Bible says that the Father has appointed a specific day
and hour for Jesus to return (Mk 13:32)(Mt 24:36)(Acts 1:7)(1 Thess 5:1-2).
