Pride is a sin we all struggle with from time to time. Usually, it is at the root of most sins. It is exalting ourselves above God in some way. It is, also, a failure to see that God gives us all things.
The Bible tells us that we are to be humble, and the humble will be exalted, while the proud will be abased (Mt 23:12)(Lk 14:11).
God can work in those who are humble, but those who are proud usually have no need for God. Below are verses that say pride goes before a fall, God gives grace to the humble and resists the proud, and God HATES pride.
Ask God to reveal any pride in your life and crush it.
(Prov 6:16-19) Mentions seven things God hates and are an abomination to Him: (Verse 17) A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood.
(Prov 16:18) Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.
(Prov 21:4) An high look, and a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked, is sin.
(James 4:6) But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
(1 Pet 5:5) Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject to one another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace unto the humble.
(Jer 50:31) Behold, I am against thee, O most proud, saith the Lord God of hosts: for thy day is come, the time I will visit thee.
(Mt 11:25) At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.
(1 Jn 2:16) For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
(Rom 12:3) For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think...
(2 Tim 3:2) (Men being proud is a sign of the last days)
